Playaventura, a place to spend your vacation See map

The Playaventura resort offers a recreation space where you can camp and do recreational and sports activities in contact with nature.

Located in the Upper Valley of Río Negro and Neuquén, an area that acts as broker to the mountain, where in summer the weather is very hot and well worth spending the night in the region to enjoy the beaches of the Negro River or Lake Pellegrini, near Cinco Saltos. In spring the area becomes a paradise when apple and pear trees are in bloom.

Playaventura is at the confluence of the rivers Limay, Neuquén and the headwaters of the Negro River in the heart of the Upper Valley, near the cities of Neuquén and Cipolletti.

Directions

From Cipolletti to General Roca through National Route No. 22 up to the entrance to the Jordán Island (about 5 km). Then towards the river for a distance of 4 km to the raft, and after crossing the river, about 1000 meters further on is the resort.

It is a space for sports and entertainment to enjoy with family or friends. You can also spend a few days camping in the camping area that has grosery store to solve all their needs or stay in the cottage for six people with a choice of breakfast, snack, lunch and dinner, laundry and ironing.

Playaventura has been declared a Museum Site where you can see paleontological fossils found at the scene. Patagonia is an inexhaustible source of discoveries of this kind and unique pieces seen here fossilized extinct species, such as the femur of a dinosaur of 1.05 meters. There are also some grunts animated dinosaurs that have glowing eyes and when they get angry, they expel water.

Among the activities that you can do we can mention:

  • Pleasant horse rides through the area with the children, enjoying the scenery in an atmosphere of total contact with nature.
  • Playaventura, CipollettiFossils in Museum Site.
    You can enjoy walks or boat fishing from the shore in the Negro River, where you can take rainbow trout and mackerel and other species. Anglers enjoy fly fishing and bait stuck in the river with water up to waist.
  • The ATV ride is an exciting way to tour the area. They can be large and short, and those who do not like the speed can ride on bicycles.
  • For those who enjoy action sports you can practice rappelling or downloaded zip line, keeping all security measures. 
  • Another option is to watch birds on the look out and see the magnificent species who choose this river area.
  • Finally, we intend to hike up to Mirador del Alto Valle and the confluence of the rivers Limay - Neuquén and the source of Negro, both day and night on cruises that end with a campfire.

Playaventura facilities are prepared for all types of outdoor events and a lounge with a culinary offer of first class, as well as traditional "asado". There is also the place specially designed for children with games, a pool with waterfalls from the Game of the Basin, a trampoline, board games and sports like football, tennis, volleyball, shuffleboard, ping-pong, bocce , foosball or chilean shuffleboard to practice outdoors.

The resort amenities include barbecue, supplies, toilets, showers, Direc TV, surveillance, first aid kit, mobile and cellular phone.
