Technical Information of La Hoya's slopes See map

The slopes of the ski resort La Hoya are developed from elevation 1,350 meters above sea level to the 2,050 meters high peak of the hill. These tracks are designed so that it can be used by skiers of all levels and disciplines, among which are the Alpine skiing, Snowboard, Freestyle, Mountaineering skiing, Skiing and Backcountry skiing.

It has a spectacular off-slopes of deep snow for skiing and snowboarding. This is one of the most outstanding features of the center, which in recent seasons snowboard enthusiasts from different countries of the world discovered in La Hoya one of the best places in South America for the development of this discipline.

Cleaning machinery tracks 

Maintainance in full conditions of skiable surface is achieved through the use of three snow groomers milling system that keep the snow in its original condition, making it more enjoyable skiing and snowboarding. Besides the ski resort La Hoya has cannon for snowmaking.

Lifts

All slopes are fully connected by steps and mountain hikes, natural or specially built to provide the highest potential for use of space. This added to the feature that all slopes converge to the same base, makes La Hoya one of the safest and most suitable resort for the family, which it is hard to miss.

La Hoya has 9 modern lifts, four of which are air (lifts) and five are in drag, all arranged in a way that allows the full profit of the mountain. Its technical features make them fast and convenient, making the skier fully enjoy his/her stay at the Hill.

Snow quality: dry powder snow.

Since 2009 the bet is doubled as it had began flights between San Pablo-Trelew, which means providing a better service for tourists coming from other countries. On the other side to Esquel arrive five weekly flights connect it to Trelew and Buenos Aires, which is a major air bridge.
