Other activities that can be performed

Diving

Buceo en MadrynOne of the favorite places to practice diving is Puerto Madryn.

Puerto Madryn, considered the Diving Capital by excellence in Argentina, beginning in the late 50's, is visited year round by divers from around the country and the world due to its water with high transparency and abundance of marine fauna. You can dive, both from the beaches by accessible places or on board, hiring the services of registered dive operators that provide the diver and the adventurous tourist the opportunity to learn various underwater parks.

Submarines Baptisms

It is a form of recreational diving, where without any experience in diving or swimming, people can venture into the underwater world accompanied by an instructor with personalized attention that assists the beginner. It is provided the necessary pieces of neoprene, it does a test floating in the water until you feel comfortable. Basically you start the journey of a circuit showing the most attractive parts of the park and wildlife features of the area and you are photographed underwater. This circuit, in the average person, takes about 20 minutes, but always depends on the person (and its kicking). When the "divers" return they can take a hot fresh water shower if desired and enjoy a few "mates". Soon the pictures will be ready to be delivered along with a diploma in memory of the ride done.

Water sports

There are made daily trips and visits to the seal colony at Punta Loma (17 km), watching of dolphins, sunken ship (Folías) and Punta Este. Trips are within the scope of Gulf Nuevo.
