Both whale season or during the summer, Puerto Pirámides is an excellent tourist destination. This place is ideal to get away from noise and monotony of the city, and surprised by its tranquility, adventure, peace, magic and wild nature.

The town offers several options to enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds it. Since land and water sports activities, not forgetting the boat trips to spot whales, the main attraction of the city.

Water activities are the main attraction of the summer. From kayak rentals, snorkeling, sailing trips to the seal colony, boat fishing, sandboarding to night diving are experiences that are lived in full and where you feel part of nature itself.

One of the highlights in the area is the diving, which attracts many visitors. This activity takes place within the bay and through one of the most transparent waters of the coast of Argentina, where divers can visit the various natural reefs and observe a great variety of fish and crustaceans. In addition, it offers the possibility of snorkeling with sea lions, a unique experience in which you can interact with these curious and playful animals below the surface.

Another possibility at sea is kayaking. In Puerto Pirámides there are several coastal cruises tours which offer the chance of bumping with marine fauna or introducing in large caves formed by erosion from the sea.

The mountain biking is increasingly attracting more adherents in this town. This is because in the same route it is possible to cross dunes, plains, cliffs and finish at the beach by a coastal whale watching. This combination of obstacles and nature is a special opportunity for anyone who enjoys wandering up the bike paths.

Other options are endless possibilities for trekking. You can walk away from the town in all directions to natural viewpoints, where you will see whales and sea lions leaping to their offspring. But you can explore the deserted beaches discovering fossils of millions of years old. It is that in these beaches, gently sloping with calm and clear waters, you can walk for kilometers without crossing with another human being.

Finally, the activity is fishing, that are fishing trips shipped to different parts of the Nuevo Gulf. Fishermen will delight in getting beautiful specimens of sea salmon up to 20 kgs. In addition, one can catch grouper, sea bream, mackerel, bream, dogfish and even leopard sharks and bacot.
