The One Fly Fishing Contest has the particularity that only a single fly can be used throughout the day. This competition is expected among lovers of the sport and takes place in mid-December in the Pichi Leufú river.
Winner of the 2008 One Fly Contest in Bariloche..The traditional and long-awaited One Fly Fishing Contest, that is held in Bariloche, is a test in which the fishermen have the challenge of using a single fly in the entire competition, which be disclosed before.
The event takes place in two stages in one day. In the end the winners of the two categories, general and another for children and young people, get the Cup Challenger.
Contestants must fish in compliance with these Continental Fishing Regulation in place that requires the Catch and Release Enforced. If not they will be deducted 200 points for each trout to die or not recover.
The fisherman must determine what part and deliver an indentical fly that will be attached to the application form by the supervisory committee.
It is allowed only the use of hand net to help you get the piece of water.
