In late 90's, the former football club Boca Juniors, Guillermo Barros Schelotto came to Caviahue. He could barely support the foot and spent three days at the site.

But the player did not come just to take a break to the baths. Barros Schelotto ued the CEARART facilities for rehabilitation, and he managed to walk out of the place well after his stay at the resort.

It was then that these springs became more known. From there it was visited by sportsmen and racing teams throughout the country such as the rowing, cross country or cycling group. In 2002 the Boca team returned to use it.
