Las Lajas and Pino Hachado See map

In the city of Las Lajas you can visit the local museum on Avenida del Trabajador street and National Route 22. Each year during the months of October and November Cultural Meetings are held where they congregate musicians, poets, painters, photographers and craftsmen.

Few kilometers from Las Lajas, on National Route 22, coming from Zapala, is the cave's system most important in southern Argentina "Cuchillo Cura", for which it is a must visit with guidance and approval from Las Lajas about the dangers of landslides that exist.

In the shores of Agrio river and in streams Liu Cullinan and Las Lajitas you can camp and go fishing.

By National Route 22, 50 km from Las Lajas, through Peña Haichol, an area of ​​rock formations of unique characteristics, you get to Pino Hachado International Pass, for which you arrive the neighboring country of Chile. It is an area of extraordinary beauty, with large valleys surrounded by streams.

The passage has a cafe located just meters from the National Gendarmerie detachment and a Snow Park with good skiing slopes in the winter season.
