Maquinchao: Capital of the Wool Provincial Capital of the Wool and one of the members of the South Line of Río Negro. This defines Maquinchao City, on National Route Nº 23, devoted almost exclusively to cattle raising, although rural tourism has increased greatly in recent years. Provincial Wool Festival Cada mes de febrero la ciudad de Maquinchao se viste de fiesta para homenajear a la actividad productiva predominante de la región. Se realiza la Fiesta Provincial de la Lana.
