An Astronomical Observatory in the Patagonia See map

The city of Neuquén offers another possibility to enjoy your stay in a different way, watching the sky. The Astronomical Observatory coordinated by the Astronomical and Space Foundation of the Southern Hemisphere has four telescopes that detect light composite image visible. On clear days you can observe the solar system and distant stars and galaxies.

Inside the observatory also operates a weather station that allows to know all the secrets about the weather.

The Astronomical Observatory is located on the intersection of Jesus Maria street and the access to Rincón de Emilio at 300 meters from the Plaza de las Banderas (the end of the Argentina Avenue). You can visit the days with clear or cloudy sky and without strong winds  from 19 to 24 hours.
