Esquel hosts cycling competetitions See map

During the first days of April the city of Chubut, Esquel, becomes the seat of the 1st date of the Argentine Championship Mountain Bike.

The track has 3,960 meters and is designed for cross-country competitions in La Cascada area.

The categories that can participate in this competition in the Ladies are: Ladies Minor, Junior Women, Masters Women A, Masters Women B, Elite Women and Masters A. In Men are: Children, Cadet Men, Junior Men, Under 23, Masters B1, Masters B2, Masters C1, Masters C2, Masters D and Elite. And there is also a category for children, Youth Children.

Esquel is also home to the traditional cycling competition "Mountain Bike Doble Lago Futalaufquen", a competition that has become very traditional in Argentinean Patagonia, which takes place in March.
